I had a tube of pure silver Canadian maples to sell for spot, and initially he said yes, he would buy them, then I made an offhand remark about how cash would be better because his bank charges me $7 to cash his check, and then he and the lady there (wife??) ended up getting all pissed and they threw me out, going back on the deal made 2 minutes earlier.
