  My wife and I recently purchased a home through Vinson Mortgage and our Loan Officer, Garrett O'Connell. What a pleasure he was to work with! Obviously the home buying process is stressful enough, but Garrett went above and beyond to make sure we were fully informed and comfortable the whole way! We sat down in his office and he explained (in normal language, not industry talk) every piece of paper we would end up having to sign. I cannot begin to explain how helpful that was! He answered all of or questions (and I asked a lot) and was just great to work with. We also got a great rate off the bat, which is what it's all about! I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a home loan.

  HORRIBLE!!! They dont follow through with their work. We were supposed to be closing 2 different times now and now they are saying we cant close.this has been goin on for 2 months..we are about to be homeless due to their bs..if your smart you will find a different company.even the lenders boss was no help

  Worked with Mr. Jim Lyle at Vinson Mortgage Group on financing a Condo as a self employed individual. I thought it would be a tough process but Jim made it easy for me and cost effective. He took the extra time to explain every last detail of what would save me the most money and provide the better bank for my buck. In the end, the deal was better than I could have imagined. You truly need to take the time and work with him. you will not regret it. I am very happy now and will continue to do business with Vinson Mortgage for years to come.
