  I visited the St Louis IRS office today. I had an appointment and was seen promptly. Gwen Jefferson assisted me. She was very nice, polite and knowledgeable. I had a pleasant IRS experience. Also, when I called to make the appointment a week earlier, the woman that I spoke to was very nice and accommodating.

  Absolutely terrible system that is in place!!!! Identity theft occurred and I had to prove that I was me. That came after a wait of almost a month. Then I am told a time frame of about 9 weeks after that(no date)! It has been 8 weeks and I can't even call to check the status or anything. Just a horrible online status of "in process" each and everyday,with no date in sight. You can't do walk ins to the bureau. Just a horrible situation!!!!! This has been the worst experience,to date! I hope that all of these bad reviews make an impact on improving their current system! I wanted to give a lower score!!!!
